August 2018 AusMumpreneur 2018 Conference & Awards
Vikki recently spent two days at the 2018 AusMumpreneur Conference & Awards with 250 other amazing AusMumpreneurs. As Vikki was a finalist in the Big Idea Award Category, she was required to make a pitch about the business in front of three judges. There were 12 other amazing mums in this category, and unfortunately Vikki missed out on a win this time. She did, however, have an absolutely fantastic time at the Conference and Awards Gala. She had the opportunity to learn from presenters who spoke on a range of topics including finance, client relations, partnerships and PR and listen to the journeys of many mums in business. Vikki also made lots of new friends and even learned how to do Bollywood dancing.!This was a great opportunity to network with other mums in business and hopefully some will join her on a METreat Retreat soon!
June 2018 AusMumpreneur Award 2018 Finalist
We are super excited to announce that METreat has been chosen as a finalist in the Big Idea category of the 2018 AusMumpreneur Awards.
The AusMumpreneur Awards presented by The AusMumpreneur Network celebrate and recognize Australian Mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation. The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
The Big Idea award recognises individuals that are pre-launch or in their first 12 months but have a creative, scalable, interesting or innovative business idea, innovation or concept.
Being chosen as a finalist means that there is support and recognition for our passion in helping mums take some time out for themselves at a retreat to relax, restore, connect and have fun with other mums.
The winners of the 2018 AusMumpreneur Awards will be announced at a glamorous Awards dinner in Melbourne on 31 August. Wish us luck!!!
