Vikki and Tanya who run MeTreat Retreats are both busy working mothers who know how important it is to invest in regular self-care to maintain both physical and mental wellbeing. They know how hard the juggle can be through personal experience. They too spent much of 2020 and 2021 in lockdown with their 5 sons juggling distance learning, investing in their health and wellbeing, managing their businesses and maintaining their households!

During the second Melbourne lockdown in 2020, they ran The VITAlity Festival -  a free online 9 day health and wellness festival for frontline workers and anyone else adversely affected by the COVID pandemic. You can find out more about us here.

GUEST PRESENTER  - MARITA BAJURNOW

​

Marita Bajurnow, Singer/Songwriter, Musician, Drum Circle Facilitator, Educator and recording Artist, shares her passion for music as a vessel for wellbeing and connection to authentic self with Women and Children.

 

As Founder and Director of Your Creative Voice and Sing Move Drum Groove, Marita shares her specially composed world/groove based melodies in Drumming and Singing Circles. With over 20 years of inspiring individuals and groups through Classroom Education, Concerts Choral Direction, Music Performance in Acapella and Jazz ensembles, Marita’s specialises in helping individuals reconnect to their Creative Voice and it’s unlimited creative potential in the world.

 

Marita uses the hypnotic rhythms of the Djembe drum as a pathway for creative expression, co ordination as a foundation for improvisation and intuitive songwriting.

 

In her individual Creative Coaching and Workshops, Marita incorporates Wellbeing Practices, including; Singing Bowls, Breath work, E.F.T, meditation, chanting, Music Theory, Intuitive Art, Keyboard, Ukulele, and Voice production, to support the individuals healing and unique expressive journey.

GUEST PRESENTER - NATALIA WALKER

​

Natalia Walker’s mission through ‘Inner Creative’ is all about empowering you to harness your creativity and inner wisdom, so you can create a life or business that feels more kind, inspired and authentic to you.

​

Natalia sees herself as a lantern bearer who shines a light for others to see their path more clearly. One way Natalia does this is by providing accountability support to help her clients move towards their desires while overcoming any resistance and blocks in their way.

 

She also aims to uplift and inspire through her intuitive mandala and heart designs, as well as her Mindfulness through Mandala classes. In doing so, Natalia hopes to create a positive ripple of love and kindness out into the world.

​

Reconnect with your inner creative child and inner wise woman at Natalia’s ‘Mindfulness through Mandala’ workshop. Over the hour workshop, Natalia will guide you through a mindful mandala making process that supports you to connect and integrate your personal intention for the retreat and subsequent months. While making mandalas can be cathartic and insightful, it’s also relaxing and fun. When was the last time you picked up a pencil to colour in and play?

​

And don’t worry. You don't need any previous art experience to get the most out of this workshop. This is not a drawing skills class. It's more about relaxing while you draw and colour, giving yourself a break, quietening the outside world (and perhaps the chatter in your head), becoming more present and reconnecting to that deeper part of yourself.

​

You just need a willingness to be open and explore something new. Treat yourself and come away feeling revitalised and reignited.

CATERING

​

  • All attendees will be provided with freshly prepared healthy and gourmet catering made with love by our personal retreat caterer - Erica from Life & Fork Cooking School.

  • We will be providing all meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

  • Organic herbal teas and coffee will be made available for the duration of the retreat.

  • Menu adjustments can be made for participants with specific dietary requirements. 

  • A range of wines will be served with dinner.

  • Single Bed with Shower: Solo Occupancy (1 room available) $2300 pp*

A $500 non-refundable retreat deposit payment is required to secure your spot at the retreat.

SAFETY

​

We understand that safety and hygiene continues to be important. Our priority is to make you feel relaxed, safe and secure whilst you are on your retreat:

​

  • Continental House, Hepburn has a COVID Safety Plan and has certification stating that they are permitted to run a COVID safe hospitality venue. The plan is constantly updated to align with the latest guidelines.

 

  • The retreat venue will be thoroughly cleaned prior to our stay. Conti's staff clean to align with their COVID safety plan.

 

  • All guests must adhere to the current COVID-regulations and any mask rules and dining guidelines will be compliant with the restrictions of the day.

 

  • Conti's communal areas are sanitised and cleaned daily, with high touch areas and surfaces being sanitised throughout the day. Hand sanitisers are provided in all communal areas plus bacterial handwash in all the bedrooms. 

 

  • All beds have luxury linen and fresh, clean towels are provided for your convenience. 

 

  • The venue is spacious with lots of breakout areas. We will be able to space ourselves out for all activities.

 

  • Guests will be asked to fill out a Hammam Consent Form prior to entering the Hammam which has a maximum capacity of 8 guests.

 

  • We request that guests do not attend the retreat if they test positive to COVID, have a fever, are sick with cold/flu symptoms, or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 7 days prior to the retreat.

 

  • If guests become unwell on the retreat, we will ask them to immediately return to their room and quarantine from the rest of the group. We will provide them with a RAT test which will determine the next course of action. Guests may be asked to leave the retreat even if they test negative to COVID. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.  

​​

  • We recommend that guests investigate purchasing domestic travel insurance when booking into the retreat to cover them for cancellation due to ill health. We are currently investigating insurance policies and will advise accordingly.

If you are wishing to go ahead and book into the retreat, we will ask you what type of room you would like to book into and let you know whether it is still available.

We will ask you to make payment of a non-refundable $500 Retreat Deposit to secure your spot and room at the retreat.
