Do you believe you deserve the best in life?
Do you think that you are enough?
Do you feel that you are worthy of receiving love and success?
If the answer is NO to any of the above, it sounds like you might be struggling with your
SELF-ESTEEM or SELF-WORTH.
Your self-esteem is how you view yourself in the world. It is your opinion of yourself and your abilities.
Most people oscillate between having high and low self-esteem.
When you have low self esteem you can feel insecure, unmotivated or even depressed.
Below are 12 TIPS that we've put together that may help you boost your self-esteem.
We want to make sure you celebrate the AWESOME and truly UNIQUE human being
that you are and all the gifts that you bring to this world.

1. SET SOME GOALS
It's helpful to have some goals to keep you on task and relevant, especially in these difficult times.
Everyone needs a reason to get up in the morning and some people need to have a purpose for each day.
Think about where you want to be when this particularly difficult period is over. Start with small steps, if this is new for you.

2. LIST YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS
Celebrate all your successes, past and present.
Reflect back on some of the greatestÂ
achievements in your life. Reconnect with the feeling you had back then and allow that positive energy to flow through your body.
Write a list of achievements for all the major areas of your life eg work, family, finance, relationships etc.

3. GET MOVING
Every day you should participate in some form of movement.
Exercising on your own is a great way to clear your head. Walking with a friend can make you feel less isolated.
Getting outside each day helps to calm your mind and help you get some clarity. There are lots of online classes you can try if you'd prefer to exercise in your home.
Exercise increases motivation and confidence, boosts your immunity and releases endorphins which make you feel great!

4. AVOID SEEKING PERFECTION
Remember that nobody is perfect.
Always strive to be the best version of yourself.
Don’t compare yourself to others - only to your previous self.
Perfection is an unrealistic and unattainable goal, so it's futile to strive for it.

5. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES
Think about how you react when you make a mistake.
We all learn from our mistakes, so instead of berating yourself, take a breath, refocus and look for a solution or a way forward.
It's best if you can look at a mistake as a growth opportunity.

6. FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN CHANGE
Don’t get stuck on what we can’t control or change.
Refocus your energy on first identifying what IS in your control
and then what changes you CAN make.
Stay in your own lane – don’t worry about what others are doing. Stay focused on yourself.

7. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
When we're happy we raise our vibration and that of everyone and everything around us. Our mind is clearer, we're more motivated and that improves our self-esteem.
When we are happy we spread positivity and optimism to everyone around us.
It's great to make a list of the things that make you happy. During lockdown, you may need a separate list of happiness activities that you're permitted to do!
Make sure you schedule in one happiness activity EVERY day.

8. BE A GOOD FRIEND
Help others out if you can. Some friends just need someone to listen and support them. Others might need practical help.
Sometimes all someone needs is for you to get in touch to change the filter of their whole day.
Tap into what others around you are needing, whether it's your friends, family or even your pets.
If a friend is feeling down, ask them how best to help them. The way we want to help them may not always be what they want or need to be helped.

9.ACCEPTANCE OF SELF AND OTHERS
We are all unique and we should honour and celebrate that.
Don’t judge or criticise self or others.
Always do your best in your current
circumstances.
When you are honest and accepting of where you are at now, you can then decide how you want things to be instead.
In order to find the right way forward you need to be clear on both your current location and your desired destination.

10. FIND YOUR SUPPORT TRIBE
Your tribe helps you create your vibe!
Remember to surround yourself with positive people whose attitudes and values align with yours.

11. GRATITUDE
Start and/or end each day with Gratitude.
This is one of the easiest ways to enhance your mood and vibration.

12. SEEK HELP
Are you good at asking for and receiving help?
If everything seems a little overwhelming at the moment, please ask for help.
You can ask a family member, a
friend or seek professional help.
